2009 NFL Draft Philadelphia Eagles select at #19 Jeremy Maclin

The Philadelphia Eagles traded up with the Cleveland Browns to select Jeremy Maclin at the ninetenth slot. The Cleveland Browns have now traded three times in the first round.

Maclin will join last season's breakout rookie wide receiver DeSean Jackson and will form one of the quickest wide out bunches in the league. The Eagles have given quarterback Donovan McNabb another weapon and the value is true at nineteen, but did the Eagles improve their overall team in basically picking a mirror image of Jackson.

After missing 2006 with a knee injury, Maclin started the last two seasons and set NCAA record for a freshman in 2007 with 2,776 all-purpose yards. He caught 182 passes in two seasons for 22 TDs and is also an excellent return specialist.
